Hello. I’m Sarah Ahmad!
So, what do you do exactly?
I’m a designer that specialises in graphics, marketing and branding. I’m currently developing my skills within the realm of digital marketing
Why are you called ‘The Floating Designer’?
My ethos is that the quality of my creative work shouldn’t and will never be jeopardised by my passion for travel and exploration! I float around to discover the world, but I also design amazing things. It’s a balance that I’m proud of!
Where are you from?
I’m Malaysian and proud of it!
Who have you worked with?
I have a pretty diverse portfolio! I’ve worked with big companies like Jaguar Maths in Motion, geo.me and TEDxGlasgow, non-profit organisations like Wevolution, IRISS and Designed by Society, start-ups like Swipii, Fanmoji and ClassForKids and a lot of independent businesses like Briony Cullin, Accento Cafe, WavLabs, VoiceOver Market and a lot more! Where did you study?
I did my architectural degree in Taylor’s University, Malaysia (Second Class Honours) and my MDes in Environmental Design in Glasgow School of Art, Scotland (Merit)
Do you have any other skills?
I also illustrate and do graphic-recording from time to time, I design installations and exhibitions when I have the free time and when I’m able to participate in festivals, I paint murals and I aboslutely enjoy making marketing animations

I love to travel. I love food. I love being outdoors. I love yoga. I love Pokemon!
